I play a LOT, and I go through a LOT of reeds. The daily challenge of stepping into a musical group and having to play beautifully, with no excuses about weather, music, or REEDS, led me to try to figure out more about making consistently good reeds. I simply can't afford to have bad reeds in my reed case! And I don't think any oboist should have to suffer that fate.

I am passionate about music, about sharing it with the world around me, and about having GOOD REEDS to facilitate my music-making. After all, isn't that what it's all about?
