Gouged Oboe Cane

Quality French oboe cane hand-prepared and gouged between .59-.60 mm. Priced per piece (change quantities in PayPal check-out).

I use select French cane from reputable growers, and I hand-pick only the best pieces, measure each one, and hand-process the cane myself from start to finish.

I use an Innoledy gouger, which is probably the most consistent and accurate gouge ever made. I check each piece to make sure it is straight and is the correct thickness. Again, this is the same set-up that I use for my own reeds.

Because I gouge in small batches, I am able to control the quality of each piece much better than the larger double reed suppliers who have several people gouging their "hand processed" cane, and can't always tell you the measurements, let alone what gouge has been used.
